PRE-COMRADES WEEKEND!

It's the final weekend before Comrades and its a packed one!
1. SAT - Run with Hazel at 6am from Club - BRING PET FOOD PLEASE!
2. SUN - Chairmans Run - 6am from the Club - a short fun one to stretch the legs
3. SUN - Comrades Breakfast - 9am at Malaguetta Restaurant. Remember the Comrades Tables - Bring your stuff!


	RUN WITH HAZEL - SAT 6AM - BRING PET FOOD PLEASE! Lets join Hazel as she sets off on the 2nd leg of her 10/10 journey on Saturday. We will do the Queen Street route and will bid farewell to Hazel where she turns off or where we can no longer keep pace with her.


	The Chairmans Run - SUNDAY The Annual Chairmans Run this Sunday at 6am - The Chairmans Run. The Chairman has promised to take the run very easy this year. Join everyone on a short run before resting for 10 June 2018.


	Comrades 2018 Breakfast The Comrades Breakfast will be held on Sunday 3 June 2018, 9am at Malagueta Restaurant. A delicious breakfast buffet will be served. R135 and R70 FOR kids under 10. We have a guest speaker and all the usual Comrades betting and fun. All members are welcome - not just the Comrades runners. You can pay for the breakfast on the morning.

COMRADES TABLES

Thanks to a caring bunch of volunteers we will have 5 tables on the Comrades route for your personal refreshment/replenishment needs.

Please make use of any or all of the tables. Remember these tables will ONLY have your personalised items and there won’t be any “general” refreshments.

We will have separate containers for each table at the Comrades breakfast.

Pack your stuff separately for each table and drop them into the relevant container.

Make sure you include a bottle for the volunteers to mix your drink beforehand and for you to take and drink from on race day.

Give clear details on how you need what to be mixed but try to keep it all simple so the volunteers can get it right for everyone.

Label your stuff CLEARLY with your RACE NUMBER and NAME and expected TIME OF DAY of arrival. (don’t say “3 hours” do say “8:30”)

	Bedfordview Tops are Ready for Ordering The New Hoodies will be ready in time for the Comrades Breakfast. Sizes and stocks are limited, so order online and collect at the breakfast or after the Chairman's run. You can also pay for then in cash at the breakfast.

	Comrades Gazebo - SITE PG21 The Gazebo site bookings for the finish at Comrades have been finalised and our site is PG21. Please have a look at the attached Stadium, Finish and People's Park layouts. Like with Two Oceans the Gazebo sites at Comrades are no longer in the finish area but are just outside the stadium with a view of a big screen TV.
